Work Experience Letter

-I have taught art (painting, children water color and sketching) for 18~19 months for an art academy (does stating out the precise no. of months sound tedious, should I round it to 2 yrs, or is that considered dishonest?)

-Taught alot of children ranging from ages 4-13.

- I’ve taught 1 to 4 hours per week (varies depending on the no. of students I’m assigned to teach)

-Should I also mention that I’m a diligent part-time teacher who is kind and patient with kids (that’s true,) and what else do you think I should add?

Please can you guys give me a rough format of how I should put all this info (or add anything extra that you think I need?)

p.s. I’m in highschool, applying for university and I’m planning to add in some work experience to make my application stand out a bit.

p.p.s. my employer said that he trusts me to write up the work experience letter myself, and then he’s going to read it and sign it. Is that okay?
