I’m currently in Year 10 at ______ in ______, studying English, Maths, Triple Science, ICT, History, Critical Thinking and Spanish for GCSE. I’ve always been interested in books (particularly historical and fantasy) and read avidly in my spare time. I intend to become a journalist or psychologist when I leave school.

A work experience placement with a ______ would provide me with an extremely valuable insight into what it would be like working for a newspaper company and I was wondering if it would be possible to get a placement to work with you for the days of 18/05/09 to 22/05/09.

I occasionally babysit for friends and family and helped at a catery in February. I have proven myself to be punctual and reliable and a hard-working. I take an interest in journalism, which is why I think a placement with _____ would be a great opportunity for me.
